Prince Charles will, reportedly, sideline Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when he ascends the throne. But it seems the former senior working royals won’t mind.

While speaking with Us Weekly, former royal butler Paul Burrell said that Prince Charles wants to have a slimmed-down monarchy. And non-working royals and those that are not in the direct line of succession may not be included.

This means that Prince Harry, Markle, Prince Andrew, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Prince Edward, and his children may not be part of Prince Charles’ slimmed-down monarchy.

But a royal insider also said that Prince Harry and Markle wouldn’t mind because they don’t have any plans to become working royals again.

While it is possible for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to regularly visit the United Kingdom, they will only stay in the country for a short period of time and visit their charities.

Meanwhile, a recent poll on Express revealed that royal fans want Queen Elizabeth to strip Prince Harry and Markle of their royal titles.

Following their decision to quit The Firm in January, the queen decided to strip them of their HRH titles. However, the queen allowed Prince Harry and Markle to continue using their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles.

But a Nov. 12 poll that asked respondents if Prince Harry and Markle should be stripped of their titles revealed that 98 percent said yes. Only 2 percent said no and 1 percent of the respondents said that they’re not sure.

Some of the respondents also accused the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of disrespecting the monarchy. And they also questioned their intentions following their recent public appearances.

Earlier this week, Prince Harry and Markle also made headlines this week after they accused of engaging in a publicity stunt on Remembrance Sunday.

According to reports, Prince Harry asked the queen if he could lay a wreath in London last Sunday, but Her Majesty refused. As such, Prince Harry and Markle decided to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers at the Los Angeles Cemetery.

However, their public appearance was received with a slew of criticisms. And some accused the couple of engaging in a publicity stunt.

But Prince Harry immediately denied the claims during a podcast interview. He also said that he wore his poppy to honor the fallen soldiers and the soldiers that he knew personally when he served in Afghanistan.
