Nikki Bella and John Cena called it quits after six years together, but didn't stop the cordial exes from being on good terms. Both of them have even moved on, with the former WWE Divas Champion getting engaged to her Dancing With the Stars partner Artem Chigvintsev in January, and the Bumblebee star tying the knot with longtime girlfriend Shay Shariatzadeh on Oct. 12.

While promoting the new season of Total Bellas on Us Weekly, Nikki admitted that she and Cena, 43, will be tied forever, noting that she realizes that their relationship was in the public eye, and was showcased on a reality show for six years. She went on to say that all that she ever wanted was for him to be happy. Nikki even said that she is happy to see him doing so well in the movie world.

Nikki said Cena reached out to her, as well as her sister Brie. She revealed that they have not had an individual conversation for quite some time. They had a short and sweet conversation, she claimed.

Bella, 36, and her fiance, Chigvintsev, welcomed their first child in July. They named him Matteo. In an interview with PEOPLE, the former professional wrestler revealed that, when she was pregnant, her trainer used to talk about his son's strength, noting that he used to get back every time he got knocked down. She told the outlet that she got alligator chills from head to toe when he said his name -- Matteo.

She told Artem that, if they have a baby boy, they will name him Matteo, which she thinks means "God's gift." Keeping it Italian, the couple added two "T" to their baby name, Nikki, whose mother is of Italian descent told PEOPLE. Moreover, she said they even kept the Russian culture and tradition, which involves keeping the father's first name as the middle name, and adding "vich" if it's a boy.

Cena and Nikki have come a long way since their public fallout after an eleven-month engagement, and there was a phase during their split when the two didn't even want to discuss each other. The only sticking point for the duo was children, with Cena once volunteering to have his vasectomy reversed for the Total Bellas star, per Page Six.
