Reese Witherspoon is allegedly struggling to come to terms with the fact that her husband, Jim Toth took a gamble earlier this year and failed.

In October, it was announced that the streaming platform, Quibi will be closed down. And the decision reportedly resulted in Toth and Witherspoon losing over $2 billion.

A source told Life & Style that before Toth took on his passion project, Witherspoon asked him if he thinks it’s worth it. Toth confidently said that it would be, and he also vowed to bring more millions to their household.

But due to the coronavirus pandemic, Toth was forced to shut down the operations for Quibi. And Witherspoon is allegedly not thrilled.

The couple, who will soon celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary, have allegedly been bickering nonstop. And Witherspoon couldn’t also help but boss her husband around following the huge mistake that he made.

According to the insider, friends of the couple are worried that Witherspoon and Toth would file for divorce before their 10th wedding anniversary. However, filing for divorce may not be the right thing to do because this would mean spending more money when they’ve already lost billions.

As such, to deal with their troubled marriage, Witherspoon and Toth have allegedly been drinking their sorrows away.

The insider also said that Witherspoon is weighing her options when it comes to her marriage. Even though she wants out, the Big Little Lies star couldn’t help but think of all her assets. Witherspoon doesn’t allegedly want to give Toth anything.

According to the insider, the actress still loves her husband, and she cares about him. However, there’s no denying the fact that the spark between them has died.

It is unclear why the tabloid seems to know a lot of things about Witherspoon and Toth’s personal life than what the actress has shared with the public. It is highly likely that the tabloid’s claims are phony.

Witherspoon and Toth aren’t divorcing. If they are, the news will come straight from the couple.

While it is true that Quibi closed down just after six months since it went live, it is unclear how much money Witherspoon and Toth lost. According to the Wall Street Journal, there were a lot of issues with Quibi that's why Toth was forced to shut it down.

And even if they lost a huge sum, Witherspoon continues to earn from her acting gigs. This means that she and Toth aren’t struggling with their finances.
