The massive scandal of ‘Megxit’ has haunted the royal family ever since it happened earlier this year. One of the biggest twists in British royal history, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to leave the royal folds, has opened up a dialogue of the royal firm’s true color.

Several biographies have since been published since the royal pair’s exit from the royal institution. In one bombshell book by royal historian and expert Robert Lacey, he alleges that there was a menacing plot against the couple ever since the start of their royal career.

‘Battle of Brothers’ narrates the awful falling out of brothers Prince William and Prince Harry, but it also speaks about a lot of the negating things behind the royal gates.

New Zealand Herald reports that Lacey wrote in his book that particular forces in the royal palace ‘briefed’ the press against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The author claims that royal advisors were having a tough time handling the Duchess of Sussex and that they were failed to capitalize on the potential of Meghan Markle.

Since the revelations of Prince Harry dating an America Bi-racial divorcee actress came out, the British press has been dogging the life of Meghan Markle.

There have been claims that the problem started when the palace was unable to realize the true potential of having Meghan Markle in their family.

The non-traditional royal already created a name for herself as an activist, philanthropist and great actress before marrying into the highly ostracized British monarchy. Fears of Meghan Markle overshadowing the ‘premiere’ couple Prince William and Kate Middleton became a big issue.

In his book, Robert Lacey writes that the Palace purposely made Meghan Markle’s royal engagements boring and predictable instead of forwarding thinking and excitement.

"Trooping the Colour; attending the opening of the Mersey Gateway Bridge; Ascot races; the hundredth-anniversary fly-past of the RAF … Meghan's post-marriage schedule of engagements was as safe, predictable and mildly boring,” Lacey writes.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s eventual separation from the royal entity has since created a dialogue of how the royal family’s traditional ways can become its downfall.

The royal pair has since left the United Kingdom and has set up a permanent camp in the United States. Their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor will also grow up American rather than British.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s popularity have since plummeted since their exit.
