The Executioners and Akudama battle it out in the Shinkansen. Things are set to get more challenging for the Black Cat and his Akudama gang in Akudama Drive Episode 5.

The official website is yet to reveal the synopsis for the next episode. However, Akudama Drive Episode 5 will delve deeper into the contents of the carriage. 

Akudama Drive Episode 4 starts at Kansai Station; two Executioners reach the station to see the Shinkansen leave. The duo decides to board the Shinkansen before it picks up speed. 

Meanwhile, the Akudama members note that the departure of the Shinkansen was unexpected but the raid was a success. However, Ordinary Person fears that they are not going according to the plan. The Black Cat intervenes and informs the Akudama that they are on board and if they take the vault, the mission’s a success.

In the meantime, the members are still skeptical about the mission. The Black Cat announces that having a plan doesn’t guarantee success. Moreover, they are reminded that they only have ten minutes to execute the plan and get the vault. Any longer, and they will enter the void of doom, also known as Absolute Quarantine Zone. 

However, Black Cat trusts that his gang will complete the mission in ten minutes. Things go south when the duo enters the carriage and attacks the Akudama.

Brawler launches an attack and Hacker notes that the vault is open. Ordinary Person tells Courier to go ahead. However, Courier needs his bike and he attacks the other guard. Black Cat is upset with Courier’s reckless actions. 

Black Cat adds that they need to get rid of the Executioners at any cost. Meanwhile, Courier and one of the Executioners engage in a fierce fight with each other.

The Executioner remarks that without his bike, Courier is just a punk. Courier announces that he never gives up, no matter how complex the situation is.

Meanwhile, Brawler charges at the Executioner with a punch. As Brawler engages with the enemy, Hacker, Hoodlum, Ordinary Person try to open the carriage. Hacker reveals that the current carriage is more secure than the last one and they need to find another way.

Akudama Drive Episode 5 is scheduled to broadcast on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020, at 7.30 a.m. ET. Fans can stream the episodes online on Funimation. The episodes are currently streaming in Japanese with English subs.
