Kris Jenner is, allegedly, blaming the advent of social media for the end of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

According to National Enquirer, Jenner, who is a “hypocrite,” is seemingly biting the hands that fed her. After all, during an interview, Jenner said that when the Keeping Up With the Kardashians started years ago, there was still no Instagram or Snapchat.

Back then, people were more patient to wait for the arrival of new episodes of the hit reality TV show. But with the advent of social media, there are countless leaks and information that fans can already find online.

According to the tabloid, Keeping Up With the Kardashians also saw a drop in its ratings recently. And this could be one of the reasons why they decided to end the program still on a semi-high note next season.

But there are also claims that Kim Kardashian decided to end the reality TV show because she doesn’t want her marital problems to be featured in the program.

According to OK! magazine, Kanye West has never been comfortable being in front of the camera. And a source told WHO that the minute that the rapper went off the rails, Kardashian made the difficult decision to not include any of his problems on the show.

After all, the mom of four, reportedly, takes West’s mental health seriously. And she wants them to focus on helping the rapper get better.

But another source told Entertainment Tonight that the Kardashian-Jenner family agreed that it’s time to end the reality TV show so that they could focus on their family and future projects that are already lined up for them.

Sources also claimed that Khloe Kardashian didn’t want to appear in more seasons of KUWTK because she wants to focus on mending her relationship with Tristan Thompson.

Kourtney Kardashian, on the other hand, already expressed her desire to quit Keeping Up With the Kardashians last year. There are claims that she’s also busy repairing her relationship with Scott Disick.

Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner are also busy with their respective careers outside KUWTK so they’re also on board with the decision to end the program.

Meanwhile, there are also reports suggesting that there could be a spin-off for Keeping Up With the Kardashians in the near future.

Executive producer Ryan Seacrest told ET that he doesn’t know if there will be spinoffs because they haven’t crossed that bridge yet
