Jennifer Aniston and Jon Hamm were linked to each other last year.

According to NW, Aniston was dating a slew of men around the time that she celebrated her birthday with Brad Pitt. Hamm also attended Aniston’s party, and the rest was history for the couple.

A source told the tabloid that Aniston and Hamm are perfect for each other. And their friends couldn’t, allegedly, help but wonder why they didn’t date much earlier.

The insider also claimed that Aniston wanted to ride on the so-called “Hammaconda,” and she is not alone. After all, several other women are, allegedly, smitten with the actor.

According to the source, Aniston has been asking her friends to link her to Hamm because she wants to date him. And even while the Friends star was dating John Mayer, she was already, allegedly, interested in Hamm.

But Aniston’s friend, Paul Rudd, was, allegedly, the one that made things happen for the couple. Rudd, allegedly, convinced Hamm that they’re right for each other. And since they were both single last year, Hamm decided to act on his feelings for Aniston.

“Their idea of a hot date is sharing a laugh over a bottle of wine and some takeaway. Jen always thought Jon was a good-looking guy, but she never realized how funny and charming he was too. Now, she’s on the receiving end and she can’t get enough,” the source said.

However, Gossip Cop debunked the tabloid’s claims last year. And they revisited the dubious story this week to stress the fact the tabloid’s claims were never accurate.

Aniston and Hamm didn’t date last year. And The Morning Show star didn’t date a slew of men at the same time last year. In fact, Aniston has been single since her divorce from Justin Theroux.

Last year, Aniston was interviewed by Howard Stern on SiriusXM. Stern asked if Aniston is enjoying her time being single, and the actress said yes.

Aniston also said that she’s very busy because she was promoting The Morning Show at that time.

Stern then joked that he would set Aniston up with a prospective boyfriend, but the actress refused. Aniston said that she doesn’t like being set up. In fact, she hates it.

The actress’s statement proves that the tabloid’s claims couldn’t have been accurate. After all, Aniston wouldn’t have allowed Rudd to set her up with Hamm.
