Chrissy Teigen recently survived a pregnancy loss and maintained complete silence on social media since then. However, the actress took her official website to post a blog on Oct. 28 and opened up about her difficult times.

The 34-year-old supermodel received many messages to show support after the tragic incident, but one of the messages stood out for her. Teigen revealed that it was from the former secretary of state, Hillary Clinton's message, that turned out to be special.

Teigen received the message from the 73-year-old politician after learning details of her loss from her blog. The model wrote that it seemed too early to share her feelings as she has not overcome the pain. She further said that she would have sat in the corner of her house with dimmed light while having a glass of wine and thinking, "what happened."

However, Teigen revealed that she is writing this note from a couch and wrapped in a blanket. She acknowledged the number of flowers and notes she received while most of them started with the assumption that she probably won't read it, but she assured that she reads them all.

She revealed that her pregnancy loss happened due to excessive blood loss. Teigen said that she received multiple blood transfusions, and the doctors diagnosed partial placental abruption, which cut off the baby’s oxygen.

Teigen admitted having placental problems, but it never came between her pregnancy. She disclosed that she insisted on her husband, John Legend, and her mother to click the pictures even if it feels uncomfortable.

She explained that Legend felt uncomfortable, and it didn't make sense to click pictures at that time, but she assertively asked him to do it. Teigen said that she knew how important this moment was as she wanted to remember it similar to kissing her husband and celebrating Miles and Luna.

She knew she would share her story later. Clinton couldn't hold back but share her support and call her brave enough to open up about such a hard conversation. She further appreciated her for helping other families by sharing this along with her own.

Teigen responded to Clinton's tweet and said that she feels absolutely honored. She acknowledged how Clinton had dedicated her life to fighting for children's health and women. The Lip Sync Battle star said that Clinton sharing her piece of a blog means the world to her and concluding with "Wow."
