Angelina Jolie will be returning to the big screen very soon, according to Deadline. Deadline has released some news that the 45-year-old actress will be set to play in the adaptation of ‘Every Note Played’ by Lisa Genova.

According to Deadline, the actress will be playing as the ex-wife of Christopher Waltz's character in the film.

‘Every Note Played’ is an adaptation of Lisa Genova’s novel, who is also the author of the Still Alice, which was also made into a movie starring Julianne Moore.

The movie will follow the life of Christopher Waltz, a world-renowned concert pianist who is on the brink of creating his magnum opus or his greatest creation.

An unfortunate event hits the concert pianist’s life after being diagnosed with ALS, a rare disease that meant he was slowly going to lose his motor function.

Angelina Jolie, who will be playing the ex-wife of Waltz’s character, will then come back into the life of the concert pianist to take care of him.

The book will then follow the two's story as they try to reconcile their differences while Waltz will struggle to finish his last piece of music.

Both Jolie and Waltz will be working together for the first time. The director of the movie has been named and is Michael Sucsy. There has been no news as to when the production will start.

Christopher Waltz is a good friend of Angelina Jolie’s estranges husband, Brad Pitt, as the two have worked together in Quentin Tarantino’s film, Inglorious Basterds.

The two have gotten close to each other throughout the movie's filming, as to how this will affect the dynamic between Angelina Jolie and Waltz is unsure.

This will be Angelina’s big comeback, the last time the actress was involved in a movie or show was for ‘The One and Only Ivan’, where the actress served to be Stella's voice and was one of the producers.

The actress has been concentrating on directing in the past few years, releasing critically acclaimed films that tackle serious world issues.

Her ex-husband Brad Pitt was last involved in a movie for Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.’ The movie gave Pitt his first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor after decades in the movie industry.

Both Angelina and Brad are on bad terms and are currently undergoing an intensive custody battle for their children.
