Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has a reputation for being a girl-power advocate and someone bent on spreading love and positivity. Despite that, some fans accuse her of engaging in bitter feuds with fellow female rappers, including her recent criticism of Diamanté Quiava Valentin Harper, a rapper who is professionally known as Saweetie.

Megan Thee Stallion has had a little bit of history with the "Icy Girl" singer, although it is still unclear whether they know one another or have ever met. This didn't stop fans from pitting the two rappers against each other due to their nicknames: Icy Girl and Hot Girl, according to Empressive.

Back in Aug., last year, Saweetie tweeted that she will be taking over the wintertime following Megan Thee Stallion’s song “hot girl summer" was released. Several fans of the "Savage" singer took jabs at Saweetie in the comments section.

While it initially looked like only the fans were bent on kicking up the feud, Megan Thee Stallion triggered conversations when, in Nov. 2019, a video surfaced, showing her asking a DJ to stop Saweetie’s “My Type,” Black Sports Online reported. Although the rapper latest tweeted that it was a misunderstanding and that they aren't feuding, rumors about their feud continue to do the rounds online.

Megan Thee Stallion commented recently that fans think it was about Saweetie. The remark came during the Oct. 1 video premiere for her song “Don’t Stop.” She talked about the vlog series dubbed HOTTIE WORLD on her YouTube channel when she commented on those hosting similar programs.

Noting that they have been doing this for a while, the rapper went on to point on that they are on season five, episode eleven of HOTTIE WORLD, and continue to go strong. She then said that several people are trying to copy it, claiming that HOTTIE WORLD "is the OG."

Some people claimed this was a jab at Saweetie, who hosts a YouTube series named The Icy Life. Following in the footsteps of HOTTIE WORLD, Saweetie's YouTube series revolves around her professional and personal life. It is worth mentioning here that it started a couple of years after Megan Thee Stallion unveiled her YouTube series, in Mar. 2018.

Following the video premiere, fans took to social media platforms, including Twitter, to accuse Megan Thee Stallion of criticizing Saweetie. Still, Empressive suggests she could actually be shading Erica Banks, who has been blamed for copying her style.

None of them have commented on the matter until now. Considering that Megan Thee Stallion constantly supports her female peers, it is quite hard to imagine that she was shading Saweetie. We will need to wait until one of them opens up about the drama.
