The pandemic has changed the world’s perception of what ‘normal’ is, currently the entire population of the planet has adapted to the new normal nowadays.

The Hollywood world has been hit badly as well and all sorts of movies have been either delayed, discontinued or are just starting their production.

But the pandemic has also given the world of movies a time to breathe and for actors and actresses who have co-starred in films long before reconnecting and pitching in new ideas.

It seems like the new normal in Hollywood right now are virtual reunions and virtual table readings of movies gone by.

Recently, the lovely Whoopi Goldberg had a virtual interview, and the EGOT awardee revealed the ‘Sisters Act 3’ could be a possibility.

The comedic star was catapulted to worldwide fame after she starred in the movie ‘Sisters Act,’ which was first released in theaters back in 1992.

The film's success has seen a sequel made, ‘Sisters Act 2: Back In The Habit’, was quickly released back a year after.

Although the second film's success was not comparable to the original, Whoopi Goldberg had always wanted to do a third movie.

According to Goldberg, several people discouraged her from creating a third one, saying that nobody wanted to see the third installment of ‘Sisters Act.’

But recently, the actress has had some requests from people to create a third one. She exclaimed that she always thought no one wanted to watch the film but apparently there are a lot of people who do.

‘Sister Act’ follows a woman who goes into hiding as a nun after witnessing a violent crime. Whoopi Goldberg’s co-stars included Kathy Najimy, Lauryn Hill, and Maggie Smith.

Goldberg also revealed that the whole cast is up for a reunion for the filming of ‘Sisters Act 3’.

Speaking of Kathy Najimy, the actress also made headlines earlier last month after rumored that ‘Hocus Pocus’ was returning to the screen.

But it was due to Beth Middler, her co-star in the Disney film’s fundraiser. She and Beth Middler, as well as Sarah Jessica-Parker, will be virtually reuniting for Middler’s fundraiser.

Although there have also been rumors of Disney planning to produce a second film of the cult favorite ‘Hocus Pocus.’

Whoopi Goldberg is currently one of the hosts of ‘The View’ and stars in CBS series, ‘The Strand.’
