The South Korean K-pop girl band, Blackpink has been on fire lately with the incredible influence of their music. In their career, they have smashed a string of YouTube viewing records – and now they are running strong on the path to breaking some more.

As per a report from YG Entertainment, the "Sour Candy" singers have already racked up 590,000 sales in just a matter of one day. This feat translates into the shattering of IZ*ONE’s record of the sale of 389,334 copies of their super-hit Oneiric Diary in a week.

The company also adds that the number may go even higher at a faster pace in the coming days and also because the sales from the big Blackpink-fan regions the United Kingdom and the United States have not been incorporated into the counting.

In addition to that, the South Korean music group has also broken the pre-order records. The latest album from the fab fours has already eclipsed the 1 million mark. With that, the group becomes the first K-pop girl group to hit that record.

To celebrate their enormous early success in the industry, a documentary based on the life and career of the group is being rolled out.

The trailer has sent Blinks on an emotional ride and shows that movie is made up of all the major bits of their career. The documentary will be released next week.

As far as the entertainment or any other industry is concerned, in general, to be able to get a doc to be based upon oneself, it takes decades of hard work and efforts – and then after so many years of struggle, winning, and failing, a doc is eventually made. However, for Blackpink, it has come at a fairly early stage of their career.

An excerpt  on the doc reads, “As BLACKPINK continues reaching new heights in their career — from headlining sold-out world tours to becoming the first female Korean group to perform at Coachella — each member reflects on the ups and downs of fame and the long, often challenging journey that brought them to worldwide success.”

The girl group was seen interacting with presenters from various TV programs and radio shows. The rundown of their convo is that they are getting ready for a powerful Coachella performance.

As per the Blackpink girls, this is the just the light before the midday, many more great things are on the way to come out.
