Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s moms have been dubbed as pushy for entirely different reasons.

According to Woman UK, Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland is pushy about her current living arrangements with Prince Harry and Markle.

“Doria has her own quarters and while a few of Harry’s chums have been ribbing him about living with his mother-in-law, he has a brilliant relationship with her,” the source said.

As for Middleton’s mom, Carole, there are claims that the matriarch was the one that made sure that her daughter would go to Prince William’s school in the hopes of the two meeting each other.

“It’s been suggested that Carole persuaded Kate to go to St. Andrews knowing Prince William was there,” the source said.

However, these claims don’t necessarily make Ragland and Carole pushy. It is highly unlikely for Ragland to be the one that asked her daughter and son-in-law to give her a huge room in their home.

Last month, Ragland and Carole also made headlines amid claims that they didn’t receive the same treatment when their daughters first joined the royal family.

Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth were, reportedly, more welcoming towards Ragland than Carole. After all, Prince Charles even walked and chatted with the yoga instructor at Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding two years ago.

Ragland was also, reportedly, invited to celebrate Christmas with the royal family, which is something that Carole didn’t experience early on.

But a source told Life & Style that the Duchess of Cambridge is the one that’s most offended by the treatment that her mom received from the royal family.

“Kate accused the Queen of giving Meghan special treatment and saw this as a huge snub to her side of the family. She understands that most of Meghan’s family is estranged from her and that this was a kind gesture, but it still hasn’t stopped her from thinking that Prince Harry’s wife has got it easy! Kate’s parents have never been asked to spend the holidays with the Queen. Instead, she and William have been forced to split their time between the Middletons and the royals, shuffling their children from household to household,” the source said.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Ragland may seem to have received special treatment from the royal family because she doesn’t have any other family members in the United Kingdom other than Markle.
