Kate Middleton and Prince William are allegedly struggling with their marriage one year after rumors swirled that the latter had an affair with Rose Hanbury.

Last year, Globe claimed that the royal couple was consulting with a divorce lawyer after the Duchess of Cambridge learned that her husband has been cheating on her.

A source told the tabloid that Middleton is a jealous wife and the cheating scandal humiliated her to the core. The insider also said that Middleton found out that Hanbury was the one that got away for the Duke of Cambridge.

Since Prince William and Middleton are allegedly divorcing, the tabloid also claimed that they were discussing the custody of their kids.

“A $250 million settlement isn’t out of the question. This is a full-blown divorce crisis for William and Kate that could rock the monarchy even more than when William’s father, Charles, divorced Diana,” the insider said.

The rumor debunking site, Gossip Cop was quick to contradict all the claims made by the tabloid. The publication reiterated the fact that Prince William and Middleton are not on the brink of a divorce.

Prince William and Middleton are still happily married even though it’s been a year since the tabloid claimed that their marriage was falling apart.

This week, royal expert Katie Nicholl told OK! magazine that the royal couple’s marriage is stronger than ever as they prepare to celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary.

Before tying the knot in 2011, the couple dated for about 10 years. Nicholl said that during the past two decades of their relationship, Prince William and Middleton have learned how to tune into one another.

The expert also said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s relationship is based on mutual respect. This statement also debunks the dubious claims made by the tabloid months ago.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Middleton’s marriage isn’t the only one targeted by the tabloids. Globe also claimed last year that Queen Elizabeth is encouraging Prince Charles and Camilla to end their marriage.

An unnamed source told the tabloid that Prince Charles and Camilla secretly filed for divorce because the Queen wants to settle all her family’s scandals before she dies.

But as always, Gossip Cop debunked their claims. And it doesn’t also take a lot to figure out that Prince Charles and Camilla are still together.

In fact, the couple has been self-isolating together during the coronavirus pandemic in the United Kingdom.
