The destinies of Taichi and the other’s siblings are on the line as the threat increases in Digimon Adventure Episode 18.

The countdown has begun and Tokyo’s future is at stake. After beating Orochimon, Taichi and his friends decide to take a breather but suddenly a countdown begins.

To everyone’s surprise, the real Tokyo also witnesses a similar countdown as electronic devices start to fail. Taichi and the others are alert and amid the chaos emerges another Ultimate Digimon named Nidhoggmon.

In Digimon Adventure Episode 18, it is revealed that Nidghoggmon is Orochimon’s evolution. During the episode, it will be revealed that Niddhogmon is connected to the countdown, according to the synopsis shared by Wikimon on Twitter.

The preview of Digimon Adventure Episode 18 reads, “The Chosen Ones are cornered. The destinies of their younger siblings in Tokyo begin to unravel. Next time on Digimon Adventure: Countdown to Tokyo’s Annihilation.”

In the last instalment, Taichi and his comrades have to face Orochimon. After a massive attack by Orochimon, the Chosen Ones retreat. However, Yamato believes that they need to finish the villain.

Later, they learn more about an Ultimate Digimon who has a huge body and incredible power. Just when they thought they have defeated Eyesmon, something even more powerful in the form of Orochimon appeared.

Joe fears that Orochimon will be looking for them in the city.

Meanwhile, Koshiro explains that the effects on the real Shibuya. The different speeds of time synchronizing, he adds that Eyesmon was drawing massive data from their world over to this side. And that created the chaos known as Tokyo’s major power failure on one end, and on the other end is the fake Tokyo.

Watch Digimon Adventure Episode 18 online via live streaming on Crunchyroll. The episode is slated to hit the airwaves on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020. The episodes are currently airing in Japanese with English subtitles.
