The time for the series finale is here as the anime bids farewell to fans with Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 13. The makers are yet to release the episode title.

Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 12 opens with Mana Nakiri tasting Asahi Saiba’s dish for the Five Grand Cuisines battle round against Soma. Meanwhile, Asahi declares he is going to take the first seat in the next generation of the culinary world.

Mana’s Gifting ability activates in the venue as she tastes the dish. Later, she tastes Soma’s Odorless Fried Rice.

Mana thinks to herself that she is getting dragged further in with every bite she takes into the storm Soma is trying to get through.

She has the same reaction for both the dishes and the audience wonder who the victor is.

The Gifting is rippling in the arena and the audience members are clueless about their clothing ripping apart.

Azami Nakiri reveals that this is no ordinary Gifting. He explains the Gifting Wave sends a wave of deliciousness to others, causing them to disrobe. He adds that what is happening in the arena is not disrobing but Bursting, which rips their clothes to shreds. It may be an evolved form of Gifting.

Azami states that this is something that only the God Tongue could have achieved – The Divine Gifting. People are speculating that it is due to Soma’s dish surpassing Asahi’s dish.

Meanwhile, Erina Nakiri looks upset at what is transpiring in the venue. Earlier, she revealed she wanted Asahi to win as it will be good for all. In the meantime, Asahi is shocked that he is on the verge of losing the round to Soma.

Food Wars!: Shokugeki No Soma Season 5, Episode 13 is scheduled to broadcast Friday, Sept. 25, 2020. The episodes are available online for streaming on Crunchyroll.
