Princess Diana’s life will be featured in the upcoming season of The Crown.

Other than her tumultuous relationship with Prince Charles, her eating disorder will also be highlighted in the series.

According to Daily Express, Princess Diana’s eating disorder will be featured in graphic detail in The Crown Season 4. However, there are already claims suggesting that Prince William wouldn’t be happy with the project.

Just a few days ago, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle inked a deal with Netflix. And there were already claims to say that Prince William wasn’t thrilled that his brother and sister-in-law are teaming up with the streaming platform.

However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made it clear that they will be releasing inspirational projects on Netflix.

In The Crown, Princess Diana actress, Emma Corrin will, reportedly, be featured gorging on her food and then vomiting in the toilet while dealing with her marital problems with Prince Charles actor, Josh O’Connor.

According to reports, Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marital problems caused the later to waste away. Prior to her death, the Princess of Wales has also been very open about her struggles with bulimia.

A source told the publication that Prince William and the other members of the royal family will most likely feel incredibly uncomfortable watching the graphic scenes. After all, this would be the first time that Princess Diana’s eating disorder will be depicted in a show.

As for Prince Harry and Markle, the source said that it is unlikely that they’ll have negative reactions over the graphic eating disorder scenes. After all, they just signed a deal with Netflix.

There are also rumors claiming that one of their projects will be a documentary about Princess Diana.

Meanwhile, production company Left Bank Pictures confirmed that eating disorder charity Beat was on set to ensure that portrayals of bulimia are accurate and sensitive.

“The series will follow Diana from being a shy kindergarten teaching assistant to becoming an iconic global figure, as well as cover the early days of her disastrous marriage to Charles,” they said.

Photos of Corrin and O’Conner recreating Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s visit to Australia in 1983 have been released. One cannot deny that Corrin resembles the late royal in the photos.

Corrin doesn’t have many acting credentials to her name.
