George Clooney has, allegedly, moved out of the house that he shares with Amal Clooney.

According to Woman’s Day, the couple has been growing apart for months now. And the last straw before the actor moved out had to do with Amal’s desire to have more kids.

“There might be some truth to the fact Amal wanted more children and George didn’t. Either way, he would never abandon her or the kids. I could see him using the home as a crash pad for when Amal and the kids are staying with him to give her some space,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that George saying that he’s building a playhouse for his twins is just for show. The Ocean’s Eleven actor is expanding his already lavish property so that he could have a space of his own away from Amal.

“All this talk of a two-story playhouse complete with a kitchen does seem strange if it’s meant for his two kids, who are toddlers and won’t have the need for all its facilities for at least another 16 years. George and Amal’s friends are starting to wonder if there’s truth to the rumor that there’s been trouble in paradise for some time,” the source said.

According to The Sun, the expansion of George and Amal’s house will take another six months. A source told Woman’s Day that this is an awful lot of time to build a cottage playhouse.

“There have been worries that Amal and George were growing apart, with her spending more time in London and Italy and him back in LA drinking with his pals,” the source said.

However, upon closer inspection, there’s no direct mention about George moving out of his own house contrary to what the tabloid’s headline reads.

It is unlikely for George to move out of his own house simply because he wants his own space. The actor has been married to the human rights lawyer for years, and they have managed to make their relationship work.

In fact, George previously gushed over his wife by saying that Amal is brilliant and beautiful.

During his interview with David Letterman in My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, Clooney said that he finally met someone he’d be willing to trade his life for.

“I met someone, who, her life meant more to me than my life. I had never had that experience before,” he said.
