Donald Trump had a hard time reading his speech during this week’s coronavirus press briefing.

On Monday and Tuesday, the POTUS held back to back pressers to give reporters an update regarding the pandemic.

During his first press briefing this week, the president unveiled a video featuring media personalities and commentators who have allegedly been downplaying the seriousness of the virus.

At the end of the lengthy clip, Trump said that he could actually hundreds of clips that show how some journalists have been writing false stories about coronavirus.

The president also dropped a shocking allegation against the New York Times where he accused the publication of publishing dubious stories about the outbreak.

Shortly after the briefing, journalist Aaron Rupar uploaded a clip of Trump reading his speech while at the Rose Garden of the White House. There are claims that he chose to hold the press briefing there because the reporters aren’t linked up to their microphones.

In the clip, it is evident that Trump is struggling to read one word from his speech. In fact, it took him a few seconds before he said the word “great.”

On Tuesday, the POTUS announced that he was cutting funding to the World Health Organization (WHO). While giving another speech, Trump once again struggled to make out the words on his typewritten speech.

Initially, the president could be heard gasping for air while making the announcement about WHO’s funding. He said that his administration has decided to conduct an investigation to determine the organization’s role in mismanaging and covering up the spread of coronavirus.

Journalist Rupar also shared a second video that shows Trump pausing for a few seconds before he could continue talking about his decision to cut the funding.

Trump’s critics couldn’t help but wonder what’s really wrong with the POTUS. Some of them are convinced that he is suffering from Alzheimer’s.

Others couldn’t help but mock Melania Trump’s husband for his inability to read simple words off a script during his press briefings.

“He can’t formulate a simple thought on his own without reading it. He lost his place in his written text and because he does no research or shows any interest, he doesn’t know what to say except sound like a 4-year-old learning new words. Pathetic,” Twitter user @84mus1c said.

“He can’t read… Where does that leave us?” Twitter user @GallopingGang said.

“There is mental illness and there is dementia. They are not mutually exclusive,” Twitter user @Kankaym said.
