Miley Cyrus Planned A Shotgun Wedding With Kaitlynn Carter? Here’s The Truth
Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter, allegedly, planned a shotgun wedding last year.
According to Now to Love, Cyrus and Carter agreed to tie the knot after their respective divorces are finalized.
A source told the tabloid that the two women were very serious about each other so they already told their parents about their plans to wed.
The insider also claimed that the former couple’s nuptials will take place in Las Vegas because they want the event to be fun for all their guests.
“First and foremost, they want it to be fun and a Las Vegas wedding is so far from either of their first marriages that they say it’ll be perfect – and off the chart, all-out party. They’ll say ‘I do’ in one of the little chapels and then go crazy with everyone at a nightclub. They’ve even talked about renting a couple of floors in one of the hotels. It won’t be quiet or sophisticated, that’s for sure,” the source said.
However, one of the couple’s concerns back then, allegedly, had to do with Cyrus’ marriage to Liam Hemsworth. The source claimed that the former child star doesn’t want to make her divorce from Hemsworth easy.
“But if she means that she can marry Kaitlynn as soon as humanly possible, she’ll pick up the pace. They don’t care what anyone has to say about them. If anyone stands in their way, they’ll elope if they have to. They want to be married and nobody – certainly not their estranged husbands – will stand in their way,” the source said.
However, an entire year has passed and Cyrus and Carter never had a shotgun wedding. In fact, their relationship didn’t last very long.
Just weeks after they made things official, Cyrus decided to call it quits with Carter so that she could be with Cody Simpson. And just last month, Cyrus and Simpson confirmed that they have also called it quits.
Gossip Cop revisited the tabloid’s story on Cyrus and Carter saying that it is false. The rumor-debunking site also spoke with a rep for the singer who confirmed that they never planned a shotgun wedding.
According to Gossip Cop, the same tabloid has been publishing dubious stories about the Hannah Montana star. For instance, Cyrus was rumored to have been admitted to a psych ward to save her marriage to Hemsworth..
