During the interview, the 39-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star had what she described as a "full circle moment" as she recalled watching an episode of The Real World with her Allison when she was 10 years old. Kim said she and Allison were at Allison's home in Malibu, sitting in front of the TV, watching the hit reality show back in 1989.

The show inspired Kim to be on a reality show. "When we are 18 let's make a video and see if we can make it," she told Allison. The socialite recalls a then 10-year-old Allison said she wanted to be her manager, and that they made a plan to bring Kim's reality TV dreams to fruition, Daily Mail reported.

She also noted that the producers of The Real World, are now the producers of KUWTK, deeming it a full circle. Kim's reality show that propelled her and her family members straight to skyrocketing popularity was launched in 2007. While the memory was important to Kim, she bond she had developed with herself, Allison, and the core group of their friends that they call "Lifers" was more important.

Kim went on to explain that Lifers is a group comprising seven members that have been best friends since pre-school. She then exchanged a few ideas for girls' day activities with Allison, who said she knew Kim since she was in the womb. Noting that they all grew up together, Allison said she doesn't remember her life without the popular media personality in it.

With all seven members of the lifers having kids and turning forty this year, Allison said they are closer than they have ever been. Podcast hosts Jennifer Goldstein and Jessica Matlin asked how Kim, Allison, and the rest of their Lifers have kept their friendship alive, despite their unusually busy lives.

Kim went on to say that they had made the choice to make time for each other, adding that they are not just besties, but like family. Explaining how they came up with the concept of making the palette's packaging a collage of their best memories, Kim told the hosts that it was important for them to ensure that the consumers see their lifelong friendship.
