An outlet has claimed that actor Ben Affleck is facing some kind of midlife crisis. He is on a constant working out mode so that Ana de Armas does not leave him.

The magazine had an interesting headline for the story: “Ben’s Midlife Muscle Crisis.” The story claims that the Batman V Superman actor is so insecure about dating a younger woman that it has now taken an ugly turn. 

Pals of the actor insisted that he has become obsessed with working out. The report is accompanied by a couple of dramatic pictures of The Way Back star where he shows of his imposing biceps.

An anonymous insider, reportedly, told the outlet that the actor is “losing it.” He is irrationally anxious that de Armas may leave him for a younger and better-looking guy. After all, the actress seems to have a promising acting career ahead and it has led to Affleck going through some sort of midlife crisis.

The mere fact that de Armas’ superiors did not want Affleck to be present on the red carpet for her film premiere goes on to show how important the actress is becoming. The supposed source claimed that she is getting more acting offers as compared to Affleck.

The insider added that the Argo star is under tremendous pressure to keep up with his girlfriend. The actor is so obsessed with her former boyfriends that he has made up his mind to use them as his inspiration while working out. 

It seems he has decided to become more muscular and it is not for a new role this time. The unnamed tipster also mentioned that Ben Affleck is becoming much too insecure and dominating for Ana de Armas’ comfort. 

The source concluded by stating that the actress hopes it is just a passing phase and yet the telltale signs are already appearing. The actor is supposedly driving her crazy with his obsession to buff up.

The assertions used in the story seem to be extremely strange. For instance, the outlet has used some old pictures of the actor from 2018. However, it has insinuated those pictures as the actor’s most recent pictures. 

Additionally, the duo was not dating two years ago so Ana de Armas is not seeing a more muscular Affleck now. The actor seems to be in great shape for many months now. 

Moreover, film stars are known to transform themselves every now and then based on the requirements of their roles. So, the kind of physique required in the actor’s movie The Way Back will be hardly the same as the kind of body he had in superhero films like Justice League and Batman v Superman. 

While the magazine argues that his fitness regime is not due to the demand for a new role, there have been talks about the possibility of him returning in the character of Batman though, in a limited capacity, Cinema Blend reports. 

So, there is a high likelihood of Ben Affleck trying to muscle up for this role. The story published by the magazine seems to be thus baseless, Gossip Cop reports.
