Victoria Beckham is, allegedly, feeling the pressure from Nicola Peltz’s parents, who are, reportedly, filthy rich.

According to Heat UK, Posh Spice doesn’t want her future in-laws to outshine her son, Brooklyn Beckham on his wedding day. As such, she decided to invite Prince William and Prince Harry to next year’s nuptials.

“This is Vic’s bid to show that they also have power and influence and even have connections to the royal family. After all, they were invited to both William and Harry’s weddings,” the source said.

Last week, tabloids claimed that the fashion designer is still torn about inviting Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle to Brooklyn’s wedding. She, allegedly, fears that the sisters-in-law could make things awkward for the Beckhams and their guests.

But now, it seems that David Beckham’s wife has already made up her mind by inviting both royal couples to her son’s wedding.

“She really wants it to be crème de la crème of UK society and she’s willing to do whatever it takes – and that means gaining access to British institutions that carry clout, such as St. Paul’s. If she gets it, that would be a pretty big deal – it’s where royals get married,” the source said.

Even though the Beckhams are friends with a lot of A-listers, the royal family is, reportedly, their trump card when impressing the high-society in the UK.

“Insecurity really fuels Victoria, she can’t help it. She’s trying to draw up the perfect list of influential guests – including royals – to prove they’re regarded as royalty in the UK. But David’s been telling her that, besides family and friends, most attendees will be Brooklyn’s friends. He’s worried that the wedding is being turned into a show, but she’s not backing down,” a source said.

However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Brooklyn and Peltz’s wedding is scheduled for next year. And the invitations haven’t been released.

As of late, there is no confirmation that Prince William, Middleton, Prince Harry, and Markle have already been invited. And even if they are invited, it is unlikely for the Sussexes to attend the wedding because they’re now based in the United States.
