The South Korean all-girl ensemble, Blackpink, is publicized to releasing a collaboration track with American singer Selena Gomez. The rumors started to surface when the Blackpink queens announced their long-awaited comeback album debut and a sophomore pre-release single next month.

The new allegations started when the South Korean quartet teased their beloved Blinks through releasing a teaser poster that features a top-secret artist. The galvanized fans were very swift to speculate about the matter leading for the band and Selena’s name to top the trending list of Twitter.

The speculations started by the Blinks were responded purposefully by Selena’s fans, leading for the two fandoms to compact their idol’s embryonic team-up ideally.

But despite the exhilarating rumor, Blackpink’s home management, YG Entertainment, released a statement demanding the fans to wait further for the final announcement “later,” News Week reported. The agency also added a massive thank you to the fans who undyingly support Blackpink to their ventures. At the moment, the featuring artist is still on the works.

Moreover, according to Allkpop, the chance of the quartet of a Selena Gomez collaboration will never be abruptly a hopeless case, not until the group makes the official announcement. As of writing, Blackpink hasn’t released any of the premised official statement yet.

The possible feature of the Korean femme fatale’s forthcoming single also named other artists aside from Selena.
