Selena Gomez once again proves that she is a mental health hero!

American songstress, Selena Gomez, 28, has spoken about her fund-raising plan to benefit mental health services. The Disney alum's cosmetics firm Rare Beauty has pledged to raise $100 million in assistance for those struggling individuals that need to gain access to mental health amenities.

According to NME, referencing Selena's statement, the 'Back to You' singer expressed her company's eagerness to support mental health services. "I'm so grateful to be surrounded by a team that's helped make the Rare Impact Fund a reality," she said, then added that the move they are trying to mention is their brand's unique way to "give back" to the community.

The singer also reckons Rare Beauty's goal is to help people feel more sheltered to each other in this world of mayhem. Rare Beauty came up with the Rare Impact Fund to directly impact many individuals' lives in making a difference to the world we live in. Selena highlighted its partnership with various sponsors to make the Rare Impact Fund happen.

In a Seventeen report, Rare Beauty allocates one percent of each sale to any of the brand's products to Rare impact Fund. The donation is set to occur in the next ten years, making the sum of $100 million.

The Rare Impact Fund was announced by the pop star herself on July 22, in heels time for her 28th birthday. The charity work aims to reduce the stigma that incorporates mental health issues and take the edge off feelings of loneliness. In particular, the funds will go to "underserved communities."

Alongside launching Rare Impact Fund, Selena and Rare Beauty also made known their newly established Rare Beauty Mental Health Council. The said council consists of mental health specialists across the firm's establishments, ensuring the allocated fund will all go through its purpose.

We're committed to raising funds with numerous philanthropic partners to reach our goal. The Rare Impact Fund will help support the local, national, and global organizations that have a direct impact on the well-being of this amazing community. Selena has always been very vocal about her mental health struggles. A few months ago, the singer openly talked about her bipolar disorder diagnosis on fellow Disney alumna Miley Cyrus's 'Bright Minded' podcast.

Recently, Selena posted a heartfelt message that marks her support for the BLM (Black Lives Matter) movement. Joining the list of celebrities supporting the campaign, Selena pinned out the unacknowledged fact of having an immense pain that badly needs to be treated and healed in the Black community. The singer added to highlight that a white person should educate themselves more about the matter.
