Angelina Jolie’s eldest son, Maddox is, allegedly, staying in a tiny and miserable dorm room in South Korea.

Maddox is studying at Yonsei University in Seoul. However, he was forced to return to the United States due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Prior to his return, Radar Online published a photo to show the public what Maddox’s dorm room looks like. The photo shows the room that two small beds and two small desks.

The publication estimated the size of Maddox’s room, which he shares with his roommate, at a little more than 250 square feet.

Maddox, 18 also shares a kitchen and a living room area with all the other students staying in the same dorm. All first-year students studying at Yonsei University are required to live in the dorms before they could move into the university’s main campus.

The teenager’s dorm room is a far cry from his bedroom at Jolie’s mansion. Maddox also grew up under the care of several nannies, and he was chauffeured by a driver everywhere he went.

As of late, it is still unclear when Maddox will return to Seoul to continue his education. It is possible that he will continue his studies at the university from the comfort of his mom’s home.

Last year, Jolie became a tad bit emotional when she dropped her eldest son off at Yonsei University.

“I thought I was preparing for him to go. And I was making sure he had the right shoes, the right jacket, the right glasses. You work so hard as a mother, right? And you’re helping him,” she said.

But Jolie became emotional after realizing that Maddox stayed back with her at the airport instead of walking away immediately.

“He stayed with me. It was like, 'He wants to be with his mother.’ And I asked him, ‘Are you OK?' And he said, 'Yeah I’m fine.' And then I realized the entire week was all for me. He was just making sure that I was going to be OK,” Jolie said.

Recent rumors claimed that Maddox is Jolie’s favorite child because she, allegedly, entrusted her $116 million fortune with him. Jolie also, allegedly, left her production company with Maddox.

However, one should take these claims with a grain of salt. Jolie most likely loves all six of her children with Brad Pitt equally.
