It seems the journey of court for the beloved Pirates of the Caribbean star is going to be long and challenging. Johnny Depp has been cited as someone who consumes excessive drugs and drinks while he later suffers from "blackouts" after violent behavior.

In London high court, during day two of appearing in the witness box, the actor faced allegations of assaulting ex-wife Amber Heard because of jealousy and repeatedly displayed his "self-destructive" actions in the past four years of marriage.

Depp sued the publisher of Sun, Dan Wootton who is an executive editor, and News Group Newspapers for the article that accused him of being a "wife-beater”. The 34-year-old actress had claimed that the actor assaulted him 14 times during their marriage while Depp denied the allegations and told that he never hit Heard.

Sasha Wass who is representing the Sun challenged Depp in the court on the incident when he kicked Heard in the back on a flight in the private jet that flew from Boston to Los Angeles. Wass asked Depp, “You had a blackout, didn’t you? … You may have done some things you don’t remember.”

The actor admitted to the court that he did blackout but he can recall some memories from the flight and that doesn't include him kicking her. In fact, the 57-year-old actor told me that he is not a violent person and stressed: "especially not with women".

Regarding the same challenge, there was an email read in the court which the actor confessed stayed all night drinking and consuming cocaine. After consuming the "powders" the actor went on and had two bottles of champagne during the flight with Heard, which made him angry.

There was another text presented in the court where Depp apologized for his behavior with Heard. When Depp was confronted for sending this text, he said it was Heard who behaved badly and it was essential to "placate".

Wass told the court that Depp was jealous because James Franco and his then-wife worked in a movie together as lovers. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory star admitted that he had been using pain-relief drugs that were prescribed to him and he got addicted to it.

Wass asked the actor if he had trouble recollecting memories of things he has been doing because of excessive alcohol consumption, to which Depp replied that he is quite lucky that even being with someone who was "self-destructive" his brain is functioning fine.
