Big Hit Entertainment launched BTS’ new song called “Stay Gold,” shortly after the release of its trailer. Reports have it that the new track appears to be an encouragement and motivation to everyone experiencing the terrors brought by the COVID-19 around the globe.

The music video depicts the rose-colored glasses of trusting that the world is off to a better place. With the conviction from the lyrics “If you want a miracle…I’ll show you one,” BTS members RM, Suga, Jin, Jimin, J-hope, V, and Jungkook portrayed the scenario of being in the dark of isolation and walking out into the light.

The inspiring track is set to uplift the listeners to not be anxious and afraid and to keep on moving forward no matter what amid the pandemic. “Even the clock hands…will stop moving…let it glow,” V sang in his part. The “stop moving” paints the picture of being held in isolation due to the coronavirus outbreak worldwide.

Simultaneously, Big Hit Entertainment posted an animated video of BTS for “We are Bulletproof: The Eternal” on June 11. The animated video is a part of BTS’ annual Festa celebration.

Also, the K-pop group donated a huge amount of money – approximately $1 million -- to the BLM (Black Lives Matter) movement. The ARMYs even collected over a million dollars, according to an article from a fan group.

“Stay Gold” will be featured for BTS’ new Japanese album – “Map of the Soul: 7 – The Journey,” which will drop on July 15. The forthcoming album will have “Stay Gold” as its lead single and will include Japanese versions of BTS’ hit songs like “Dionysus”, “Fake Love, and “Boy With Luv” with Halsey, who is an American singer and songwriter. It will, also, include two new Japanese original songs: “Lights” and “Your Eyes Tell.”

Big Hit Entertainment ensured that the album will also be available to the ARMYs in South Korea and the United States. There will be four versions of the album “Map Of The Soul: 7 - The Journey” on the Weverse shop of Big Hit Entertainment. The album contains an additional Blue-Ray or DVD with BTS’ videos for the tracks, a behind-the-scenes peek of the album’s photoshoot and a “making video” for the lead single “Stay Gold.” All of which will be available in the US on August 7.
