Even A-list celebrities are not exempt from the social distancing rules mandated by health organizations the world over to avoid being infected with the coronavirus. One such example is Angelina Jolie, who Harper’s Bazaar reports is social distancing along with her six kids.

According to the outlet, the kids are also keeping up with their visits to Brad Pitt, whom Jolie is still in the process of divorcing. The couple separated back in 2016.

Jolie’s six children -- 18-year-old Maddox, 16-year-old Pax, 15-year-old Zahara, 13-year-old Shiloh, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne -- are all reported to be having a lot of time with their parents, often watching movies together at home.

All six are also reported to be keeping up with their schoolwork. Instruments, board games, and practicing their languages are also some of the activities the children are keeping themselves busy with.

Maddox, in particular, is continuing his college coursework online. The 18-year-old had chosen South Korea’s Yonsei University as the place to earn a biochemistry degree. Due to the spread of COVID-19 in South Korea, Yonsei University had announced that classes will be held online, allowing Maddox to return home to the United States. A source that is close to the family says that these new arrangements have not been a big adjustment to the children, who are reported to regularly do their schoolwork at home.

Aside from social distancing, E! Online also reports that Jolie has also made a substantial financial contribution in helping less-privileged communities survive the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Jolie had donated a million dollars to the nonprofit organization No Kid Hungry, which is targetting to end childhood hunger in the United States and around the world.

In her statement, Jolie said that her donation was spurred by the school closures caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Since a lot of disadvantaged children receive their meals from school lunches, the school closures could potentially leave 22 million children hungry in the United States alone.

It is probably best that Jolie continues to practice social distancing as the coronavirus has already claimed the lives of a number of celebrities. The past few weeks have seen the deaths of Broadway star Mark Blum and celebrity chef Floyd Cardoz.

There have also been a number of celebrities who tested positive for the coronavirus. Aaron Tveit, Andy Cohen, Daniel Dae Kim, Idris Elba, Kristofer Hivju, Olga Kurylenko, Placido Domingo, Rita Wilson, and Tom Hanks have all tested positive for the virus.
