There is a word on the street that Beyoncé is about to get a hefty sum of about $100 million from Disney.

Sources claim that the singer has signed a lucrative deal with Disney worth around $100 million. The deal will entail the songstress to get associated with three key projects including the sequel of the Black Panther

The multi-industry entertainment company also hopes to obtain the singer-songwriter on Disney’s streaming platform Disney+ for content according to a report by The Sun. Disney has already tasted success after they procured Meghan Markle to do the voice over for their film Elephant on the same streaming platform.

The company has a string of projects lined up that can be in perfect sync with the songstress’ brand, a source revealed. However, there seems to be still some time left before she can start celebrating the success of this massive deal. An insider revealed that negotiations are still going on between the two sides.

If she does manage to sign this lucrative deal with the conglomerate, she would be not working with them for the first time. After all, she did the voiceover of Nala in the remake of the popular film The Lion King in the past.

In case Beyoncé does manage to finalize this deal, it would add to her already whopping net worth, which she has gathered through various sources. The songstress has not only amassed wealth from her music-related careers such as music sales, TV specials, concerts, and merchandise, but also her collaboration with Adidas.

In other news, the musician spoke about the movement Black Lives Matter and sexism in her speech to the graduates of 2020. The Halo singer featured on YouTube originals titled Dear Class of 2020 on Sunday (June 7) in an online ceremony.

She congratulated these fresh graduates in her message and discussed the “sexist industry.” The singer mentioned she knows how tough it is to “step up” and establish oneself in the beginning.

The musician remembered the turning point in her career when she made up her mind to create her own company several years ago. She also revealed how tough it was for her to have faith in herself for this crucial move in life.

The Single Ladies hitmaker believes that the entertainment industry is “still very sexist.” She feels female role models are not given adequate chances to prove their worth.

Beyoncé also revealed how the entertainment industry is still a male-dominated area. She admitted that it was difficult for her to get ladies who could produce her tools, direct her films, as well as, run her label.
