Wendy Williams' manager, Will Selby, has rebutted allegations made by her son, Kevin Hunter Jr., suggesting that Williams' team is exploiting her. These accusations surface as the former TV presenter grapples with health issues.

Selby, in his response, questioned the basis of Hunter Jr.'s claims about Williams' support network. "How exactly is she being exploited? To gain what or achieve what? Prior to Wendy, I was doing just fine, and my decision to support her came out of her own request," he asserted.

Furthermore, Selby confirmed that the celebrated host of 'The Wendy Williams Show' is currently under care in a wellness facility. He underscored the fact that Williams is under a court-appointed guardianship, thereby eliminating any possibility of exploitation. "Each of her decisions is sanctioned by the guardianship. It's a court-sanctioned arrangement," he emphasized.

"So, even if someone wished to exploit her — every decision needs the court's approval," Selby elaborated. "Any business engagements involving Wendy, myself, or anyone else require the guardianship's approval. So, how could she be exploited?"

The manager also criticized Hunter Jr.'s decision to go public with his concerns rather than addressing them privately. "If your mother was critically ill, would your initial response be to contact an online news outlet?" he queried.

"I usually refrain from responding in such instances. I speak as a representative of my client, not to engage in a dispute with Kevin," Selby stated. "Remember, he's a young man who has likely been through a lot. He may be grappling with numerous issues. Having a son of his own, I know that they sometimes make questionable choices."

"I'm not here to contest any accusations he's made. He has a right to his views. I merely want to point out that as adults, we should act responsibly and apply some basic logic," Selby concluded.

Shawn Zanotti, Williams' spokesperson, also expressed her view on the allegations made by Hunter Jr., accusing the publication of releasing misleading stories without comprehensive fact-checking. She stated, "Such unethical and unprofessional actions mislead the public."

She concluded by saying, "We implore the world to continue praying for Wendy's well-being as she recuperates from a distressing two-year period."
