The K-pop sensation BLACKPINK successfully wrapped up their second Japan dome tour, leaving the Osaka night sky awash with pink.

On June 3rd and 4th, BLACKPINK held the 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR 'BORN PINK' JAPAN' at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. Following their meeting with 110,000 fans in Tokyo Dome last April, they attracted an additional 100,000 in Osaka, amassing a total audience of 210,000 across two cities and four performances.

The Kyocera Dome holds special significance for both the artists and fans, as BLACKPINK made history there, being the fastest foreign girl group to perform at the venue after their debut. With fervent demand, they achieved a sell-out at all performances, and their pop-up store was teeming with local fans, testifying to their exceptional popularity.

For these performances, Jisoo was unable to participate due to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis. Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa decided to continue with the performances, keeping their promise to the fans who had been waiting for a long time. Jisoo expressed regret to the fans, asking them to give "big support and strength to the members who will perform even more passionately on stage."

The fans responded with an even hotter cheer, heating up the atmosphere of the venue. In response to the roaring applause, BLACKPINK fired up the opening with the intense energy of 'How You Like That.' They stated, "We're happy to be back," and "We know that Jisoo's absence has caused worry and disappointment. We missed our Osaka fans. The three of us will work hard, taking Jisoo's part as well, so please enjoy."

The members filled the void left by Jisoo with their commanding stage presence and overwhelming performances. They performed mega-hit songs that have received explosive love from music fans worldwide, such as 'Pretty Savage,' 'Whistle,' 'Lovesick Girls,' 'Kill This Love,' 'Shut Down,' and 'DDU-DU DDU-DU,' one after another. The concert was even more spectacular with the rich live band sound and high-quality production, courtesy of YG's performance know-how, causing the audience to heat up.

From diverse solo performances to the encore stage, BLACKPINK ran without pause, expressing their gratitude to the local fans who showed unwavering love. The fans, who had been interacting with the members moving all around the stage, promised a future meeting with applause and cheers.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently holding the 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR 'BORN PINK,' a world tour of the largest scale for a K-pop girl group, mobilizing about 1.5 million people. After successfully completing their Japan dome tour, they are moving their steps to Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, where member Rosé spent her childhood. In the upcoming 'Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival' to be held in the UK in July, they will be the first K-pop artists to headline the stage.
