In a surprising twist out of Hollywood, insiders claim that actress Angelina Jolie secretly admires her former co-star, Daniel Craig, known for his portrayal of James Bond, disregarding his marital status with English actress Rachel Weisz.

Before her high-profile relationship with Brad Pitt, which started after they co-starred in the 2005 film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith", Jolie allegedly chose a then relatively unknown Craig to be her leading man in the 2001 action-adventure film "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider". Sources suggest that her admiration for Craig, now 55, has only intensified over the years, despite his decade-long marriage to 53-year-old Weisz.

"Angie just adores Daniel and says Rachel is one lucky woman,” disclosed an insider, per Globe. They also revealed Jolie's pride in casting Craig before he shot to fame as the iconic British spy in 2006's "Casino Royale".

The source added, "They’ve stayed in touch ever since and she’s constantly telling him how great it would be to team up again.”

However, Jolie's track record of on-set romances, particularly with Pitt who was married to Jennifer Aniston at the time, raises questions about the potential risks involved with a professional reunion.

Sources close to Craig, on the other hand, suggest that the actor feels a sense of debt towards Jolie, crediting her for his introduction to American audiences. "Their movie had tons of juicy, masculine action scenes for Daniel to play, and you see the beginnings of his 007 persona years before he won the Bond role," the source stated, indicating that Craig might be open to working with Jolie again as a form of payback.

The possibility of a professional reunion doesn't sit well with everyone. Another insider said, “Rachel doesn't really have a choice in the matter because Angie’s bond with Daniel predates her even knowing him.” With these rumors swirling, it seems there may be potential tension on the Hollywood horizon.
