Whoopi Goldberg has had enough of the "Fartgate" saga on "The View." The host declared on Wednesday morning's episode that there was never an issue and that the incident should not be brought up again.

Addressing co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Andy Cohen, Goldberg said, "Before we get started, I want to put something to bed with the two of you. A sound was made on the table, and that's what it was. We don't need to bring it up ever again, anywhere. OK? We're good?"

Goldberg was accused of audibly passing gas during the March 15 episode of the daytime talk show, prompting laughter from her co-hosts, who identified her as the source. She admitted to the incident, saying, "That was gas," as the audience joined in the laughter.

Despite Goldberg's admission, many people still questioned whether it was actually her. On the April 27 episode of "Watch What Happens Live," Andy Cohen asked Sunny Hostin, "Who actually passes gas the most on set?" Hostin responded without hesitation, "Whoopi!"

Goldberg was not pleased with Hostin's remark. Hostin explained on Monday's episode of SiriusXM's "Andy Cohen Live" that Goldberg asked her, "Why did you tell everybody I fart all the time?" Hostin replied, "Because you joke about farting all the time, and I'm across from the table."

Hostin, 54, added that she couldn't smell anything, so she had no idea if it was true. However, she said she and Goldberg are very close, and Goldberg was ultimately okay with it. Cohen, 54, apologized to Hostin for causing any strain in her relationship with Goldberg.

Interestingly, this wasn't the only instance of strange noises on the show. On the March 21 episode, co-host Sara Haines moved her mug, and it made an odd sound. When Goldberg inquired about the noise, Haines explained, "It's my glass every time I turn it."

Goldberg responded, "We get blamed for dropping gas when in fact, it's a cup." Following these allegations, the show added coasters to the table to prevent further confusion about the origin of the sounds.

"The View" airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
