Wendy Williams, the embattled former TV host, is auctioning off personal items from her $3 million New York City penthouse, claimed by a US tabloid.

Sources suggest she may be relocating to Los Angeles and possibly experiencing financial difficulties. "It's a new chapter for Wendy, and she wants new things," a source disclosed.

Williams, who lost her talk show, is selling various belongings, including the purple chair used during her Wendy Experience podcast's Hot Topics segment, furniture, and home decor. The 58-year-old, who suffers from Graves' disease and is recovering from alcohol and drug addictions, is said to be planning a comeback, but has not revealed any specifics.

Her publicist commented, "We are still working behind the scenes on several projects. Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looking forward to releasing her many projects."

GLOBE previously reported that the outspoken host gained popularity by criticizing celebrities on her talk show, but her career took a downturn in 2018 when she experienced several unusual medical issues. This led to her missing episodes and eventually checking into rehab in 2019. Williams divorced her unfaithful producer-husband Kevin Hunter in 2020, and her talk show came to an end in February 2022.

Despite recently completing another rehab stint, Williams was seen frequenting various New York bars, such as Fresco by Scotto and The Townhouse. Sources claim she was filming an undisclosed project. A witness shared, "She had a huge crew that basically turned Fresco into a movie set. Lights, cameras, audio, producers, etc. It looked like a reality show."

Wendy Williams Contemplates LA Move for Fresh Start After Sherri Shepherd Inherits Time Slot

Wendy Williams, the former TV personality, is reportedly considering leaving New York City for Los Angeles to start anew, months after Sherri Shepherd took over her time slot. Sources close to Williams exclusively told RadarOnline.com that she is planning on moving away from Sherri, although they also speculated that she might change her mind before actually relocating.

One friend pointed out, "What she doesn't seem to understand is that although Sherri's show is taped in New York, it airs everywhere."

Williams' daytime talk show, which focused on celebrity gossip, ended unceremoniously several months ago. Her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, criticized the lackluster finale in June, telling Entertainment Tonight, "It is the first time in the history of talk shows for this to be done, especially for a show that has been on for more than 10 years. There is absolutely no reason why a bigger celebration that involved Wendy couldn't happen."

In recent months, Williams has faced several challenges, including a dispute with Wells Fargo and various health issues. Although she occasionally resurfaces at her favorite spots, fans and friends have expressed concern about her behavior and overall well-being.
