In a subtle move during her Tampa concert on Thursday night, Taylor Swift appeared to allude to her recent breakup. Although nothing is ever truly subtle when it comes to Swift and her fans, the shift in her performance seemed to revolve around her split with Joe Alwyn.

Typically, Swift uses a transition song when she exits the stage before reemerging to perform a different "era" of her work. Until the Tampa concert, that transition song was "Everything Has Changed," which focuses on a happy relationship. However, during the Tampa show, she used "Holy Ground," a track that reflects nostalgically on a past relationship that didn't work out.

The change in transition songs, along with her opening line, "Is it just me or do we have a lot of things to catch up on?" led many to believe that she was referencing her breakup with Joe Alwyn.

While Swift's setlist remained consistent, she made intriguing remarks throughout the show, such as, "I've been thinking a lot about one of my albums recently. One of my albums has been on my mind a lot ... lots going on in my brain about it."

At one point during the performance, Swift flexed her bicep and kissed her arm, seemingly indicating her resilience and strength.

During the concert, Swift experienced a minor wardrobe malfunction when her garter fell off mid-song, but her backup singers quickly came to her aid.

Swift's fans are known for deciphering even the smallest of hints, but it seems they may have overlooked a series of clues for weeks, suggesting her breakup with Joe. It appears that she wanted the split to be a focal point of her tour, but when fans failed to catch on, someone leaked the breakup news.

In the meantime, Taylor has been spotted at Electric Lady recording studio in New York City, indicating she's working on something new.
