Melania Trump, the former First Lady, is reportedly trying to distance herself from the ongoing discussion surrounding the alleged hush money payment her husband, former President Donald Trump, made to Stormy Daniels in order to conceal their purported affair.

According to insiders close to Melania, the 52-year-old prefers not to hear about the specifics of the alleged payment and is focusing on maintaining a positive environment at Mar-a-Lago.

A source informed People that, despite some lingering tensions between Donald, 76, and Melania, she has made an effort to steer clear of news about the hush money payment, which has resurfaced as a New York grand jury investigates the matter.

The insider revealed, "She remains angry and doesn't want to hear [the alleged hush money payment] mentioned. She is aware of who her husband is and keeps her life upbeat with her own family and a few close friends."

Although Melania would rather not discuss the issue, she still hopes for the best outcome for her husband, even if she remains displeased about it. The source added that she "wants to ignore it and hopes it will pass, but she doesn't sympathize with Donald's plight."

Despite her aversion to the Stormy Daniels situation, the insider claims that Melania is "happy" at Mar-a-Lago, surrounded by people who support her and avoid discussing negative aspects of her husband's life.

The source noted that while Melania still fulfills certain "duties," she and Donald maintain some distance between them, revealing, "They don't spend that much time together."

This report coincides with the ongoing grand jury investigation into the alleged payment to Stormy Daniels. Michael Cohen, Trump's former lawyer, has testified in the investigation, previously claiming that he paid the adult film star $130,000 to prevent her from disclosing her account of the alleged affair with Donald. Trump has denied any wrongdoing and refuted claims of an affair with Daniels.

Although no indictment has been issued yet, the former president continues to criticize the investigation on his Truth Social platform. On Saturday, March 18, he claimed that he expected to be arrested due to an "illegal leak." However, the arrest did not occur.
