Ryan Seacrest allegedly decided to leave Life With Kelly and Ryan after he developed feelings of hate toward Kelly Ripa.

In its March 13 issue, Life & Style claimed that after years of working together on the talk show, Seacrest realized that he could no longer stand his co-host.

“Even though Kelly and Ryan put on an amazing show for the cameras, he was over Kelly – some say it got so bad that they hated each other toward the end. Tensions have been brewing,” the source said.

The source said that despite Seacrest and Ripa’s ill feelings toward each other, the co-hosts still tried their best to remain professional. However, they had a hard time hiding their feud from the viewers.

“There were times they couldn’t hide it. His eye rolls when she would cut him off became a joke among the crew.  And she’d remind Ryan she’s the boss, let everyone know Live was her show. It was always a power play with her,” the source said.

The source added that there have also been ongoing rumors claiming that Seacrest and Ripa stopped talking to each other two years ago. But they still carried on with their hosting their talk show.

And there’s also no denying the fact that Seacrest and Ripa see each other as their competition.

“There was jealousy and they had some ugly fights. Ryan felt stifled, so he started planning his exit. And now he realizes that he should have left when he was supposed to,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Seacrest decided to quit Live With Kelly and Ryan because he’s not on good terms with Ripa.

This is a common misconception among people who quit their programs especially when they do not explain the real reason behind their decision.

There’s also no indication that Seacrest and Ripa were ever jealous of each other or that they stopped talking two years ago. All these claims were just made up by the tabloid and they are baseless.

Seacrest and Ripa have become good friends throughout the years. And it’s unlikely for them to have a falling out just because one of them decided to focus on other things.
