Jack Nicholson has allegedly been causing his fans to worry because they have not seen them in such a long time.

In its Feb. 6 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that Nicholson’s supporters just want to know if he’s doing fine.

“He’s made it clear his home is his castle. But people just wish he’d come out of the house and reassure folks he’s OK. Jack’s in touch with certain relatives, especially Ray, his protégé, who he’s so proud of. But his socializing days have long gone,” the source said.

In the past, those close to Nicholson have defended the actor amid rumors that his health has been deteriorating. There have also been claims suggesting that the veteran actor is already suffering from memory-related illness or dementia, but he doesn’t have any plans to retire.

However, his good friend stressed that this isn’t the case. Nicholson is doing well at 85. But since he doesn’t have movies in the pipeline, he has been staying at home for most of the time.

Last week, Nicholson also made headlines after his health and body were criticized by a tabloid.

National Enquirer claimed that Nicholson already stopped taking good care of himself that’s why he ballooned to over 200 pounds.

A source claimed that Nicholson even took Leonardo DiCaprio under his wing that’s why the Titanic star also gained so much weight in recent months.

“Jack really took Leo under his wing when they made The Departed in 2006. He became something of a mentor and life coach to Leo, who is in awe of Jack’s hedonistic approach to life. He sees himself very much as a modern-day successor,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Nicholson has been MIA and his fans and friends are worried about him.

It is possible that Nicholson has just been staying at home while waiting for his next big project.

It’s not also true that the veteran actor took DiCaprio under his wing to the point that the latter gained weight just like Nicholson. This claim sounds absurd and cannot possibly be true.

As of late, Nicholson is still thriving and there’s no indication that his health has been deteriorating in the last couple of years.
