Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank will soon become parents of two.

On Tuesday, the 32-year-old royal-born Princess made the announcement in a new update on Instagram. She posted a photo of herself with her 1-year-old son kissing her stomach.

In the caption, the Princess of York wrote, “We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer.” She also noted that her husband, with whom she tied the knot more than four years ago, took the picture.

The post has amassed over 238,000 likes since its emergence on the platform. It has also received more than 4,600 comments, with netizens showering her with love and support.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank officially became parents in February 2021.

Page Six, in its report covering the social media update, recalled a statement from Buckingham Palace at the time, announcing the arrival of the couple’s first child.

It reads in part, “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021.”

The publication also noted that the Princess of York and Jack Brooksbank shared a glimpse of their first child on the same day via social media. They are said to have posted a picture of him only showing his hand.

The second pregnancy announcement comes days after the royal-born Princess made an appearance at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

At one point in the engagement, she gave an insight into the impacts of motherhood on her and her life at home, according to Hello! Magazine.

In an exchange with Reuters editor-at-large Axel Threlfall and Arctic Humanity founder Gail Whiteman, Princess Eugenie is said to have stated that her first son with Jack Brooksbank is “going to be an activist from two years old, which is in a couple of days,” before adding, “so, he, everything is for them.”

She also reportedly shared that she “talked to Peter Thomson, the UN Special Envoy for Oceans, and all he says to me is that I do this for my grandchildren. And that’s the same.”

The Princess of York subsequently added in the same exchange that “every decision we now make has to be for August, what he’s going to be able to look at and do and how he’s going to live his life.”

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank wedded at St. George's Palace in October 2018. They made their first pregnancy announcement in September 2020, a few months before welcoming their first child.
