Meghan Trainor seemingly knows how mothers think and feel when it comes to their children. As a mom of one, she urged others to try to be easy on themselves.

The 28-year-old songstress shared her thoughts on motherhood during a recent exchange with Entertainment Tonight. This came after she was asked if she had anything to say to her fellow moms.

Trainor, who welcomed her first child earlier in 2021, told the outlet that “the mom guilt can eat you alive,” adding that it “almost happened” to her. Even so, she noted that she “worked really hard on forgiveness.”

As for the specific advice she gave during the engagement, the “Made You Look” singer said, “Just try to be easy on yourself.”

Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara officially became parents in February 2021. They welcomed their first-born son via cesarean section ahead of that year’s Valentine’s Day, according to People.

At the time, the magazine said the two celebrities announced their relationship and life milestone on Instagram. As noted, they shared with their fans and followers that the due date of their pregnancy was on February 14, but they had their “sweet baby boy” a few days earlier, on February 8.

Trainor was also said to have thanked her husband “for the best Valentine’s gift ever!” in the same social media update.

In August 2022, the “Treat Myself” artist shared an insight into her and Daryl Sabara’s plans to grow their family of three. She revealed that she would be trying to get pregnant before the year ends, according to Us Weekly.

The publication quoted Meghan Trainor from the exchange, saying, “But November, December, I’ma be trying to get knocked up.”

The songstress’s revelations came after she shared in the same interview that she would have gotten pregnant months ago if she could. She noted that they were “just busy” before saying, “I don’t want to be nauseous while doing all this fun stuff.”

Meanwhile, ET shared elsewhere in its report that Meghan Trainor talked about the success of her latest hit track, “Made You Look,” during the exchange, published Sunday.

The “Lips Are Movin” singer told the outlet that “it’s more than I can ever ask for.” She also stated that “everything I write I’m like ‘Yo, TikTok’s gonna eat this up,’ like I truly um am focused on like, my fans on TikTok.”

Trainor continued in the same interview that she noticed a lot of moms are on the platform, as well.

She subsequently said, “I’m a new mama. So, I’m like, ‘oh, I didn’t even know this whole world existed. So, I just have a lot more friends on TikTok and like, that’s my home and I’m writing for TikTok.”
