Dolly Parton recently announced her decision not to go on tour anymore. The singer said that it’s too time-consuming and she wants to spend as much time as she can with her husband.

Following the announcement, National Enquirer is alleging that Parton has plans to venture into writing a memoir. And the country singer is allegedly looking forward to sharing all the details regarding her scandals and relationships.

“Dolly wants to take care of Carl while he’s still around, and continue to oversee Dollywood and other business endeavors but is also bursting to get to work on an unfiltered version of her life story. She plans to share many of the experiences she had with those who have passed, like Loretta Lynn, Porter Wagoner, and Kenny Rogers,” the source said.

The source claimed that Parton has always been a fan of Lynn because the latter was such a good songwriter unlike her.

“Dolly felt she was never as good a songwriter as Loretta. Loretta has a bawdy sense of humor that Dolly loved. Dolly loved him, there was an intense attraction. Dolly would’ve run away with Kenny if it hadn’t been for Carl,” the source said.

The insider added that Parton wants to blow the lid on the extensive drug use in Nashville during her time.

“She always steered clear of drugs and never has been much of a drinker. Of course, her friend Willie Nelson was the biggest pothead in the business back then, but she never smoked pot with him. But she’ll be sparing no details,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Parton has plans to write a memoir. And even the tabloid was unable to provide proof of its claims.

The tabloid simply mentioned that Parton has plans to write a memoir because she’s no longer busy with touring. But the rest of the tabloid’s story is focused on other things.

For now, Parton has not made an official announcement regarding a memoir so it’s unclear if this will ever happen. Once plans are finalized, Parton’s team will release a statement regarding her memoir. Until then, all these claims are nothing more than just rumors and speculations.

Parton is currently busy taking care of her husband.
