Hugh Jackman has allegedly decided to come clean to his children about his complicated past.

A source told Woman’s Day that it is only now that Jackman decided to come clean to his kids about his struggles growing up, as well as the truth about his parents.

“Hugh has seen the best and worst of the human condition and for a long time, he wanted to shield his kids from that,” the source said.

The actor also allegedly used his movie The Son to help explain his complicated relationship with his aging mother.

“It was very important to Hugh to bring the kids into his heart about what went on when he was a child. This movie has put his emotions on full show, which is good for him but his wife is wary that he might go too far,” the source said.

However, it’s unclear what the big issue is with regard to Jackman and his parents. It’s not unusual for people to have complicated relationships with their loved ones.

But since Jackman’s children are already of age, it’s unlikely for them to only be hearing stories about their grandparents now.

Meanwhile, Jackman also made headlines recently amid claims that he and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness have been feuding over Netflix’s offer to cast them in a reality TV show.

According to New Idea, Furness wants to grab the opportunity while it’s still there but Jackman doesn’t think that it’s right for their family to appear on reality TV.

“They celebrated 25 years of marriage and this could be a wonderful way to celebrate. She likes the idea of having complete control over the end product, too. Deb has never felt the need to prove anything to anyone. She wants people to see how kind and loving Hugh is as a partner, the little things he does, and also some of the stuff she has to deal with, of course! But a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their marriage will show the world he’s definitely more Wolverine than Peter Allen,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Several months have already passed and yet Jackman and Furness never appeared on a reality TV show.

This proves that the tabloid just made up its story about the happy couple.
