Bindi Irwin is allegedly fuming after her late father Steve Irwin’s former cameraman dragged the patriarch’s name during an interview.

Since Steve died a long time ago, Bindi and her entire family want to make sure that people remember only the positive things about him.

But during a recent interview, Steve’s former cameraman called the dad of two flawed. He also made some strong allegations against Bindi by saying that she didn’t really want to follow in her dad’s footsteps.

Now, New Idea is claiming that Bindi wants to get her side of the story out there.

“Bindi doesn’t really want to get into a back and forth with a man who’s had nothing to do with her family for years. But when it involves the memory of her dad, she wants her side of it out there. She is really disappointed by Justin’s interview and knows her dad would be too,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Bindi, her mom Terri, and her brother Robert refused to share tragic details regarding Steve’s final moments. But that’s exactly what Jason did without consulting the family first.

Jason was also one of the last people who were with Steve before he was attacked by a deadly stingray. They were filming so the cameras were still rolling while the people on the set tried to revive Steve.

A copy of the video has not been released to the public and it is being kept by Terri. But Jason is convinced that there are more copies out there.

Justin also claimed that Steve would be upset to know that his wife and dad had a falling out after his death.

“Steve would be furious. His old man was a special character, it was a love-hate relationship. He was very hard on him. But he’d be heartbroken that the relationship has broken down,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no indication that Bindi will appear in an interview to debunk Jason’s stories. After all, if someone should do this it should be Terri and not her.

Since Steve is no longer around to confirm or deny Jason’s stories, everything that the cameraman said shouldn’t be taken as 100 percent fact.
