King Charles allegedly forced his wife, Queen Consort Camilla to check into a rehab facility due to her alcohol addiction.

In its Nov. 14 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Camilla’s ways have been a disgrace to the royal family. And since no one can help her deal with her drinking, King Charles figured that she should just be sent to a private facility.

“From the moment she became queen consort and learned she was to be crowned alongside Charles next May, she became a monster. No one was safe from her tirades. After a few gin and tonics or glasses of wine, there was no reasoning with her. As far as she was concerned, Camilla ruled,” the source said.

The source claimed that Prince William even had to step in to force Camilla to get into a rehab facility because if it was only King Charles, she wouldn’t have agreed.

“At first, he tried to gently point out that the stress of Elizabeth’s death was intense and he understood why she turned to alcohol for comfort. But she was out of control and needed to sober up. Camilla was outraged. But Charles sided with his son and told her if she didn’t get help, he would refuse to allow her to be crowned alongside him,” the source said.

The source added that even though Camilla is the love of King Charles’ life, he wouldn’t allow anyone to jeopardize his role as monarch, especially on his coronation day. After all, he waited for this ceremony for decades.

So, even if Camilla did not immediately approve, King Charles allegedly had all his wife’s things packed and had her sent to a rehab facility.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that King Charles and Prince William had an intervention to force Camilla to check into a rehab facility.

There’s no reason for Camilla to go to rehab because she is not addicted to alcohol.

It’s obvious that the tabloid took the recent reports regarding Camilla visiting India for a series of natural treatments out of context.

The queen consort is not in a rehab facility but in India with her friends. King Charles did not join his wife on the trip because he has a lot of things on his plate as the new monarch.
