Tom Cruise is reportedly dealing with a lot of things back in the United States. He is there to finalize some of his scenes in Mission: Impossible, and he is also planning to increase his security team.

According to Radar Online, Cruise has been getting death threats from a former employee who was hired to look for stunt locations for Mission: Impossible. However, none of the former employee’s suggestions were used by the heads of Cruise’s movie.

He was later fired after he alleged that Russian oligarchs have been funding Cruise’s movie. He also claimed that the FBI is probing Paramount.

Even though none of his allegations have been proven to be accurate, there are still ongoing protests among the staffers working on Mission: Impossible. After all, they are worried that they too could be fired.

As of writing, Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie have not revealed any plans to let go of more production members but there are still fears that this could happen without warning.

“Tom and Chris are still working on Mission: Impossible 8, mostly in the U.K., but things have gotten increasingly unpleasant with a former crew member and now it's a case of taking no chances,” a source said.

Meanwhile, Cruise also made headlines recently amid reports that he could be the first actor in Hollywood to ever film a scene in space. Katie Holmes’ ex-husband is known for doing his movie stunts, so it’s not unlikely for Cruise to take a step in this direction.

While speaking with BBC, Universal Pictures head Donna Langley talked about the possibility. The boss confirmed that Cruise will take on an undisclosed role and some scenes will take place in space.

There are also discussions about Cruise doing a potential spacewalk, which would be another first in Hollywood.

Cruise’s upcoming movie reportedly has a hefty budget of approximately $200 million. And from the project alone, Suri Cruise’s dad will be earning somewhere between $30 million and $60 million.

However, the movie still doesn’t have a title and an official synopsis hasn’t been released either. So, for now, fans of Cruise can just keep their fingers cross that his movie pushes through.

If it does, the actor will most definitely do a wonderful job as he has always done in his other movies.
