Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin did not push through with their plans to divorce, and the reason behind their change of heart has just been revealed.

An unnamed source told Globe that there’s no questioning the fact that Stallone and Flavin love each other deeply so it wasn’t easy to throw their 25-year marriage just like that.

However, the source also claimed that Stallone insisted that they should work on their issues because he knew that Flavin was after his money.

“Look, Sly wasn’t fully convinced he and Jennifer should break up in the first place. He loves her. But he knew Jennifer was going to go after his cash. Not only was he well aware that she was likely to take up to half of his massive $400 million fortune, but he also knew he wasn’t likely to meet anybody who was as good for him as Jennifer,” the source said.

Despite all their issues, the source claimed that Stallone knows that Flavin is perfect for him. And their marriage wouldn’t have lasted for many years if this wasn’t the case.

“And it would be a lot cheaper to keep her, both emotionally and financially,” the source said.

Life & Style also published a similar story about Stallone and Flavin deciding not to push through with their divorce.

A source for the tabloid claimed that the couple finally had the opportunity to talk to each other in private. And they agreed to resolve their differences.

“Sly rang up Jennifer and told her he missed her and promised to be a better husband. There’s no prenup, so Jennifer could’ve easily walked away with a ton of money, but she genuinely loves Sly and he loves her. They both want to give their marriage another shot,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Stallone and Flavin decided not to push through with their divorce because of money.

It’s more likely for the couple to have agreed to fix their issues for the sake of their daughters and because they love each other. It is important to note that Stallone and Flavin have been married for almost three decades and it would be a waste if things just ended in divorce.
