Prince Charles, reportedly, played an important role at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding in 2011.

During his interview on Classic FM, Prince Charles revealed that he chose some of the music that was played at the Cambridges’ nuptials.

Some of the songs that were played at Prince William and Middleton’s wedding include “Farewell to Stromness,” “Romance For String Orchestra Op. 11,” and “Touch Her Soft Lips and Part.”

Prince Charles also revealed that he loves organizing some interesting pieces of music for all kinds of occasions. And he has an entire collection of wedding songs that his relatives and friends can choose from.

The Prince of Wales also said that the enjoys curating songs and sharing them with his loved ones. And he said that his penchant for classical music came from his late grandmother, the Queen Mother.

When the Queen Mother was still alive, she used to play quite a bit of music at home and Prince Charles would usually hear something that he likes. But his love for classical music started when he was just 7 years old and during a visit to Covent Garden.

In 1956, Prince Charles went to see the Bolshoi Ballet perform and he could never forget the incredible occasion. In fact, Prince Charles said that he was completely inspired by the performance.

Meanwhile, Prince Charles also made headlines this week after the items on his desk from his home in Scotland were revealed.

During his home interview with Alan Titchmarsh, eagle-eyed royal fans noticed some of the things that were carefully placed on Prince Charles’ table.

It includes a photo of his wife, Camilla alongside a religious portrait. There were also photos of his grandchildren, particularly of Prince George. There were also photos of painted rainbows as a tribute to NHS workers.

Prince Charles has been staying in Birkhall amid the coronavirus pandemic. He hasn’t been making public appearances due to the lockdown and because he’s at risk for the virus.

In March, Clarence House announced that Prince Charles tested positive for COVID-19. Shortly after, Prince Charles was separated from Camilla to prevent the latter from getting infected.

Prince Charles was supposed to go into 14-day isolation but he quickly recovered from the illness.

Following his diagnosis, Prince Charles’ son, Prince William expressed his concern for his dad and Queen Elizabeth. He said that the royal family is doing everything that they can to make sure that the elderly royals will always be safe.
