As for the informant of the Queen’s passing, the document reveals Princess Royal, Princess Anne, signed the entry.

NRS said an official extract of an entry in the Register of Deaths can also be referred to as a death certificate.

As reported, the record lists the name of the late monarch as “Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor.” As for her occupation, the document says, “Her Majesty The Queen.”

The same certificate, as seen in the photo included in the report, also shows the district where the Queen’s death was registered. It says, “Aberdeenshire,” where Balmoral Castle is in Scotland.

Buckingham Palace released an official statement, announcing the death of Queen Elizabeth II, on September 8. Reports said it came more than three hours after the passing of the royal.

The statement reads, “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.”

It continues, “The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”

Some members of the British Royal Family, including the then-Prince of Wales and then-Duchess of Cornwall, flew to Scotland to be with the British Monarch. It came after the palace made an announcement regarding the Queen’s health earlier that day.

People, in its report at the time, quoted the official statement, writing, “Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision.”

The announcement was said to have concluded with “The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”

Meanwhile, King Charles III released an official statement shortly after the announcement of Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

The new monarch said that the loss of the “beloved” Queen “is a moment of the greatest sadness” not only for him but for all members of the British Royal Family, adding that they “mourn profoundly” her passing.

The King continued that he knew her death would be “deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.”

In the end, the now-British Monarch noted that he and the rest of the family would be “comforted and sustained” by their “knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so widely held.”
