Prince Harry Could Allegedly Return To His Royal Duties After Getting Queen Elizabeth’s Blessing Before Her Death
Prince Harry may soon return to his royal duties after he had a conversation with Queen Elizabeth after her death.
In its Oct. 3 issue, Us Weekly claimed that Prince Harry has always been open to the possibility of working for the royal family again. However, he didn’t want to impose unless the queen would encourage him to return.
A source also claimed that the royal family couldn’t help but praise Prince Harry and Markle because they chose to attend the queen’s funeral even though it must have been hard for them.
“There was a small family meal which was a turning point. The queen felt they should be all-in or not at all, but Charles has a different outlook,” the source said.
And since King Charles III needs all the help that he could get, it would be a win-win situation for everyone to have Prince Harry and Meghan Markle back.
“Meghan and Harry can promote The Firm by going on royal tours to countries he and William aren’t interested in seeing. And selfishly, Charles thinks it might shut Harry and Meghan up,” the source said.
Having Prince Harry and Markle back would also mean that they can have their security again. And this is something that they have been asking for in the past year.
But even if there seems to be progress between the Sussexes and King Charles III, there are still tensions between Prince William and Kate Middleton.
“They haven’t spent any time alone as a foursome. For now, the royals are trying to move forward. Charles has offered Harry a chance to come back if he chooses to. But Harry will have to regain his father’s trust first and that will be a lengthy and gradual process for sure,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s not true that Prince Harry and Markle are thinking about returning to their royal duties.
Two years ago, the couple made it clear that they are not interested in working for the royal family because of the constant criticisms that they routinely get.
What’s more likely is for the Sussexes to help King Charles III in one way or another but not as official senior working royals.
